can you tell I wrote that in five seconds without any forethought. anyway this is the page where YOUUUU are going to learn how to draw a horse* froma person who just started drawing horses a week ago
so you want to draw a kinda lumpy open oval. start at the top, start curving down a lil then straight line (this will be the snooticus) and then you draw a curve there -- skinny, round, flat, whatevs -- start going back up paralell** to ur original line, then go more horizontal (bottom of face) then UP (jaw) !!!!!!!!!! dont strive for perfection, any fucked up oblong shape can be reliably horseified***
draw some round ish triangle ish ears right at the top, the right one (or left if youre living in the mirror dimension / inside the computer) can go right next to where the top of ur shape starts, the left one (or right (see prev mirror dimension/computerworld disclaimer) can go a lil to the left (right (prev)) because the HEAD is blocking it because of PERSPECGTIVE. then draw some hair betwixt the two, squiggly and round or sharp and jagged, whichever you feel.
draw some squigglies down and to the right (left) in a diagonal. thats gonna b its neck n mane. so the part of the neck with mane is diag, draw a line back up connecting to the right (left) ear. then draw the other side of the neck going straight down from around the middle of its powerful jaw. wow youre so close the only other thing it needs is
ok draw a dot or two for eyes and a little slit for nose. now THAT IS A HORSE!
you dont have to do this one but it's a good tactic if u want the person leaning over ur shoulder watching u draw the horse to go from like "aww" to Ouhgh. with one decisive artistic choice.
